Estado del arte de la Auditoría de Información / State of the Art of Information Audit

RESUMEN La Auditoría Informacional consiste en evaluar y examinar, periódicamente, los recursos informativos que poseen las entidades para identificar la información, sus flujos y elementos como parte de los procesos organizacionales, para comprender la entidad y sus capacidades. Además, permite determinar cuáles son las fuentes informativas que poseen, cuáles son las que realmente se necesitan, cuáles las que no se tienen y las que generan costos inútiles, es decir, valora la efectividad y la eficacia del sistema informacional. Por lo anterior, la presente investigación tiene como objetivo: realizar una revisión de lo publicado sobre Auditoría de Información en EBSCO, SciELO, RedAlyc, Google, Google Académico y el Google Trends. A partir del análisis de la literatura se obtuvo la tendencia sobre el tema a partir de los países y años más productivos e idiomas más frecuentes. Se observó que aún se desarrollan varios estudios de casos sobre la temática y que las metodologías de los autores Bryson (1997), Artiles (2015) y González, Pintoy Ponjuán (2017), son las más citadas.

ABSTRACT The Informational Audit consists of periodically evaluating and examining the information resources that the entities possess to identify the information, its flows and elements that are part of the organizational processes, and thus the entity and its capacities are better understood. In addition, it allows to determine which are the informative sources that are possessed, which are the ones that are really needed, which are the ones that are not available and those that generate useless costs, that is, value the effectiveness and efficiency of the informational system. The present investigation has like objective: to realize a revision of the published thing on Information Audit in EBSCO, SciELO, RedAlyc, Google, Google Scholar and the Google Trends. From the analysis of the literature, the trend was obtained on the subject from the most productive countries and years and most frequent languages. It was observed that several case studies are still being developed on the subject and that the methodologies of the authors Bryson (1997), Artiles (2015) and González, et al (2017), are the most cited.

Los repositorios institucionales: situación actual a nivel internacional, latinoamericano y en Cuba / Institutional repositories: current status in the international, Latin American and Cuban environment

El presente artículo aborda los fundamentos teóricos sobre los repositorios institucionales que ofrecen servicios para organizar, gestionar, difundir, preservar y ofrecer acceso libre a la producción científica de una comunidad. La investigación tiene como objetivo describir la situación actual de los repositorios institucionales en el ámbito internacional, latinoamericano y cubano para mostrar su crecimiento. En el plano internacional se analizaron los repositorios indexados en el OpenDoar y ROAR. En este análisis se demostró un aumento en la última década de la implementación de los repositorios. En el caso de Latinoamérica se exponen las iniciativas que están indexadas en el Ranking Web of Repositories, mediante un análisis cuantitativo de los repositorios por países. En el contexto cubano se caracterizan los repositorios indexados en los directorios antes mencionados. The paper approaches the theoretical foundations of institutional repositories rendering services related to the organization, management, dissemination, preservation and provision of open access to the scientific production of a community. The purpose of the study was to describe the current status of institutional repositories in the international, Latin American and Cuban environment and show their growth. In the international environment, an analysis was conducted of repositories indexed in OpenDOAR and ROAR. The analysis revealed an increase in the implementation of repositories in the last decade. In the Latin American context, a presentation is made of initiatives indexed in the Ranking Web of Repositories by means of a quantitative analysis of repositories per country. In the Cuban environment, a characterization is provided of repositories indexed in the above-mentioned directories. Diseño de un sistema de gestión documental para organizaciones cubanas / Design of a document management system for Cuban organizations

Proponer el diseño de un sistema de gestión documental para organizaciones cubanas, en el territorio de Camagüey, teniendo en cuenta la importancia de la conservación del patrimonio documental en las organizaciones. Métodos: se incluyeron como muestra 42 empresas del territorio camagüeyano que se encuentran en perfeccionamiento empresarial. Se aplicaron encuestas para evaluar la situación sobre el dominio y el conocimiento de la gestión documental en estas organizaciones. Resultados: los datos obtenidos en las encuestas aplicadas en las diferentes entidades empresariales sirvieron de base para desarrollar la propuesta del sistema de gestión documental, el cual se realizó a partir de la programación de 4 etapas, donde se definieron los objetivos a alcanzar en cada una de ellas. Propose the design of a documentary management system for Cuban organizations in the territory of Camagüey, bearing in mind the importance of the preservation of the documentary heritage in the organizations. Methods: the sample was composed of 42 organizations undergoing enterprise improvement in the territory of Camagüey. Surveys were applied to evaluate the current status of knowledge about and command of document management in these organizations. Results: the data obtained from the surveys applied in the various enterprises served as basis for developing the proposal of document management system, which was structured into four stages with specific objectives defined for each of them. Diseño de un modelo para la evaluación de la calidad de los servicios en bibliotecas universitarias / Design of a model to evaluate the quality of services offered by university libraries

La calidad de los servicios en las instituciones universitarias constituye un elemento clave para el desarrollo de las múltiples actividades que estas ofrecen, lo cual incide en la obtención de la información y el conocimiento por los miembros de la organización. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo ofrecer el diseño de un modelo para la evaluación de la calidad de los servicios en bibliotecas universitarias de la provincia de Camagüey, adecuado a las características de cada institución. Para esto se aplicaron los métodos de análisis documental, el analítico-sintético y el de modelación, así como las técnicas de observación directa, la comunicación escrita y electrónica, la documentación personal e impersonal y la experimentación. La población escogida en la presente investigación agrupó tanto a las personas relacionadas con la prestación de los servicios bibliotecarios como a los usuarios de la comunidad académica y científica de las seis bibliotecas universitarias del territorio camagüeyano. El nuevo modelo está integrado por una herramienta computacional, con un sistema de indicadores y operaciones que facilitan el trabajo del especialista encargado de efectuar la autoevaluación interna de los servicios bibliotecarios en las universidades.

The quality of services related to many of the activities performed by university institutions is crucially important, and influences the acquisition of information and knowledge by the members of the organization. The objective of this work is to contribute the design of a model to evaluate the quality of services offered by university libraries in the province of Camagüey, developed according to the haracteristics of each institution. The document analysis, analytic-synthetic and modeling methods were applied, as well as the techniques of direct observation, paper and electronic communication, personal and impersonal documentation, and experimentation. The population chosen for the research included both persons related to library services and users from the academic and scientific community at six university libraries in the province of Camagüey. The new model consists of a computational tool with a system of indicators and operations facilitating the work of the specialist in charge of the internal evaluation of library services at universities.
